Shanghai Meteorological Service
Under the dual leadership of the China Meteorological Administration and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Shanghai Meteorological Service performs the functions of the East China Regional Meteorological Center (East China Regional Weather Modification Center) and the Tai Lake Basin Center. In recent years, the Shanghai Meteorological Service has undertaken several WMO demonstration projects，such as“Multi-hazard Early Warning System”, maintaining close and extensive international meteorological cooperation and exchange.
