FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Branch started its construction in July 2016, with a main vehicle plant covering 1,080,900 square meters. The construction of the plant adhered to the best plant construction standards and the most reasonable perfect plant construction principles of Volkswagen Group in Germany. It is an integrator of the five bases in terms of technology, process, efficiency and environmental protection. At present, it produces Volkswagen A+ SUV TAYRON, Audi Q3 and other vehicles, with a planned production capacity of 300,000 vehicles. FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Branch was built with total investment of about RMB 19.49 billion, and has innovations and upgrades in production, quality assurance and management, creating a new dimension of vehicle production system in China.
