To enhance the global visibility of Chinese literature, the China Writers Association established the Chinese Literature Readers' Club in 2021. The club is active in 24 countries and organizes a wide range of literary activities for international audiences. To date, the club has hosted over 200 events, launched the China Daily Chinese Literature Special Section, and built a network of overseas new media outlets—creating a robust platform for the global outreach of Chinese literature.
In an effort to bring more writers and literary masterpieces to the world stage, we welcome both Chinese and foreign partners interested in promoting Chinese literature to launch international communication projects tailored for overseas audiences. Selected projects will be incorporated into the Chinese Literature Readers' Club's 2026 annual work plan and will receive support for translation, international promotion, and event organization. The details are as follows:
I. Project Requirements
Projects must abide by Chinese laws and regulations, reflect the achievements of Chinese literature and the spiritual aspirations of Chinese writers.
Projects should be tailored to overseas audiences, with a particular focus on younger generations.
The content must be authorized for translation, adaptation, reposting, or broadcasting by overseas media outlets and new media platforms.
