Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd was established in 2022, affiliated to CCPIT Shanghai, aiming to become a domestically and internationally renowned exhibition group and to play a leading role in China’s exhibition industry.

As the predecessor of the Group, Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd (SIEC), which was founded in 1984, is China’s first state-owned international trade fair organizer specialized in inbound and outbound exhibitions, and is also the first UFI-certified exhibition organizer in China.

Adhering to “Two Serves”

Firstly, we adhere to serving national strategies. We have participated in organizing a series of government-led events, such as CIIE, YRDICIE, CNE Expo etc., and have taken the lead in establishing Hongqiao Convention & Exhibition Industry Alliance. Secondly, we adhere to serving enterprises. We have long been committed to building platforms of collaboration for exhibitors and buyers, and so far over 700 events have been held across multiple industry sectors. We organize over 100 representative groups to attend outbound exhibitions annually, and have developed a number of own-brand outbound exhibitions.

Leveraging trade promotion advantages

Through CCPIT networks, we have set up an entire exhibition industry chain covering domestic and international exhibition organization, digital expo, venue operation, exhibit transportation, exhibition planning and advertisement.

Committed to brand construction

We own more than 30 international exhibition brands with total annual exhibition area exceeding 1.5million m2, mainly in three sectors - industrial, consumption and cultural. Among these brands, Auto Shanghai, China Wedding Expo, Music China, Die & Mould China and China Interdye are ranked as the largest and most influential trade shows in their sectors. Auto Shanghai and Music China have both ascended to the Global Top 100 Commercial Events, with Auto Shanghai ranking 5th in the list.

Courageous in exploration and innovation

We teamed up with Alibaba Group to jointly found Digital Expo, a company devoted to exploring the new event business model that integrates online and offline exhibitions and to building a new benchmark for digital transformation of the industry.
